Amazon Recommendations for maintenance
Raw hair requires a little TLC. Remember, raw or virgin wefted bundles are technically dead hair you must maintain.
Rule of thumb: CONDITIONER, CONDITIONER, and more CONDITIONER. With proper maintenance, your bundles can last 2-3 years. Less is always more when it comes to products.
COWASH! (soak your bundles in warm water + one of the conditioners listed below)
leave-in (water based when pressing or use 2-1 ratio in a continuous spray bottle for daily use on natural state styles)
deep condition treatment (overnight co-washing in between installs)
HEAT PROTECTANT
What is Raw hair?
Raw hair refers to the state of the hair when placed on wefts.
When described as raw, this means that the hair has:
not been chemically processed
not been steam processed
or has not been reconstructed in any way.
In other words, our bundles have been cut from a single donor and sewn directly onto the wefts.
our products can last 3+ years with proper maintenance and use.
Perfect to curls, crimps and wavy styles. Hold curls effortlessly for days. This hair is not ideal if you prefer a sleek straight look in humid conditions. It behaves just like unprocessed natural hair. It will frizz to a wave in humid conditions.
What is virgin hair?
Virgin hair refers to the state of the hair when placed on wefts.
When described as virgin, this means that the hair has:
not been chemically processed
In order to achieve hair patterns such as body wave, loose wave, kinky curly, deep wave, etc., the bundles are usually steam processed. Our Virgin hair still has great quality like raw hair.
Our hair can last 1-2 years wit proper maintenance and use.
This hair is ideal for silky/ sleek looks.
When we refer to hair as single donor, it means that each indvidual bundle of hair has the same donor. Both raw hair and virgin hair can derive from a single donor.
Steer away from bundles that have several stray hairs when straigtened. This is an indication that it is made of scrap hair or compiled hair.
